Hey everyone is blog land.. not so much to post about, again another weekend, im lovin how this semester has been flyin. I cant wait to go home this winter! Bre is workin at DARKSIDE!! Im so excited! That is my favorite store ever, it RULES! I applied at Killington today, so hopefully i will get a winter job up on the mountain. I would love workin up there, plus you get a FREE SKI PASS!! how awesome would that be, get a really discounted board, and get a free ski pass, so i can go snowboarding every day!?!?! ohhhh this has the potential to be the best winter EVER!! anyway, here are some quizilla results

The joys of English

So im sitting here, trying to read Margery Kempe for Brit Lit I, and i just cant seem to read it. It is boring, and makes no sense. I should just quit while im ahead and do journal entries. Im almost at the end, and right now Margery is lecturing the Priest. Pretty soon it will be about her nursing her husband in his old age. Oh the joys of this book at least this is the last english class that i will EVER have to take.

So i also realized that i really dont get much of a Christmas break. Suck! We get like 3 weeks. I hope next year we get more of a break. Wow, i cant believe that next year is my last year. Its crazy. This semester has gone by faster than any other semester. Now that exams have started up now, its just gonna fly. YAY!

On a friday night..

I did homework tonight.. yeah.. go me! What a great way to spend a friday night. Ive been really unsocial lately, which is really unlike me. I have really enjoyed spending time alone, and im actually happy that no one is around this weekend, cause i can be alone.. is that such a bad thing? So, side note, as i was walking across campus today, i noticed how hot it was, and i contemplated jumping in the sprinklers. I didnt know that it could get so freakin hot in september... wow Apple picking season in Vermont has arrived, which means.... they have had a large frost... i wish we would get a nice frost here!

well.. finally in Longview, but all i wanna do is go home! I miss Vermont like non other...

So, this weekend has been fun. I went up to Burlington yesterday, and for those of you who do not know of this Burlington, its the biggest city in Vermont, much larger than Longview Texas.. more along the lines of Tyler, Texas. I went shopping on Church street, saw some guys that i have gone to school with since first grade, Sam, Nick and Mike. Great fun... didnt talk to them, but i KNOW they saw me. Hozers... Anyway, then i met up with some friends from high school, Erin and Erika. That was fun... i hadnt talked to them in almost a year, so it was awesome. Next year i may even live with them up in Burlington and waitress. I would love that!

Then i went to this Christian youth rally, and it was fun. I was one of the oldest people there however.. but it was fun. It was mostly for high schoolers, but it was great to hear music that we play in chapel, and the speakers were along those lines too. It wasnt like a Bud Austin chapel though. Thank Goodness! It was great to get out with other Christian kids though and just have fun.

Today, i went to Maine. Now Maine has to be one of the best states ever. It is so beautiful. Im sure flic would agree with me. My parents and I took a day trip up the coast to about Wells beach then went back down. So pretty. Hurricane Charlie had moved off the coast enough, so it wasnt rainy, just cloudy. I love the ocean. There is just something about it. The sound, the smell. So awesome. God is amazing, and he created it so we could enjoy it! It was fun to spend some time with my parents since im leavin so soon! Well, thats about all thats new in the life of Andrea. Some ideas for a winter job are either.... 1. Waitressing at Sugar and Spice, a restraunt i used to bus for, and the owners are good friends of my parents... or 2. Work in one of the lodges up on Killington, so i could have a free snowboard pass, and i could work on gettin good, FOR FREE!! How awesome would that be? Well.. its been a long day.. and im sleepy.. G'night All

Well, its august, but if you were in VT right now, you wouldnt know it. I bet you would think that its like early October or something. One thing i am going to enjoy being at school is not being far away from my friends on the floor. I will have a great time getting to know all the new floor mates and thinking of great ways for them to get my signature :-D he he he... I am trying to look at the positives and trying to forget that we have to comingle with 2A. I am looking forward to my new roommate. I will miss my old roommate a lot because we had some great times! but the new one seems really sweet, and so i am excited. Im really happy that i have been able to talk with her a few times. I have a problem with cutting off the world once i get home. I get in my groove doin my own thing, and i forget to keep in touch.

Well i gotta run... Bre and I are running over to the Army Navy Store :-D oohh yeah!!!

This morning at church really spoke to me. Everything was just so great! I was so encouraged. I met a friend from back in high school, who is doing great things. She is now majoring in music and bible, and she has an amazing voice. I am hoping that we will get together before school resumes. A few verses that just spoke to me from the message are:

Well, back on to post. I have finally recovered from being online all the time to post for my nutrition class online. I got an A!! WHOHOO GO ME! I have had many visitors, most recently Jesh. Jesh and I stayed busy, and man... were we busy. I was so tired every night, it was crazy! We went cliff jumping, hiked up the falls of Launa, went to Montreal, went to Boston, hiked up Pico, and watched a few movies with old high school friends. It was good times for sure. I really like Canada, i should move there! I could go to Magill for only $5,000! Hows that compared to LU?! Well, this summer is winding to a close, and for sure, i DONT WANT TO LEAVE. I would do just about anything to not have to go, in fact i am downright pissed that i have to go back, so please, if you decide to talk to me, DO NOT bring up the subject of me going back to school. It wont be pretty. I figured i would just put that out there.. anyway, moving on...

Went shopping today, got some new shoes and a few new shirts. I love shoes! GO SHOES! I got my hair cut. Kinda looks like in did in my senior pics 3 years ago. Cute though, i really like it. Not too short, but short enough to manage! My volunteering for physical therapy ends on Monday, so then all i will have to do is my vet job which is 4-9 about 4 nights a week. Not too challenging. 20 hour weeks are nice :) Well, thats about it for updates, all you guys should post and let me know if there are any other topics that i failed to mention. Also, if you post there is a greater chance of me posting again before i head back to the fry pan.... oh yeah... today was.. get this... 50 degrees!! OOHHH YEAH.. haha.. its so cold. there is something wrong with it being 50 degrees in august. Thats just wrong. Oh well.. the last two summers have been extremely hot, which results in 30 below zero temps for months on end in the winter. So maybe if we have a cooler summer we will have a more mild winter and more snow!! oohhh more snow would be nice, so then i could work on my snowboarding! Well, im tired, so i gotta run...

I decided to write from the 4/20 entry instead of the 6/21 entry of 4 years ago... much more interesting

HaHa.. well, today is a druggies holiday cause the date is 4.20 haha. Trevor showed up to practice stoned! he had gotten 2 hours of sleep. He was talking to himself and staring off into space, trippin was written all over his hand, which he proceeded to show me, but shoving his hand in my face and saying "trippin, trippin, trippin, trippin" I love that kid! He told boom boom he didnt want to do the workout, so he ran 5 laps instead of the workout the rest of the kids did. It was pretty funny, ive seen him on a hangover, but i think this is the first time ive actually seen him high... haha.. Dean was in the gym today playing soccer.. aaahhh *sigh* Evan was wearing a brace, cause he hurt himself in lacrosse. I ran into Jill cause i wasnt paying attention and now my ancle is swolen. It hurts, hopefully it wont affect my running. Well, Mike and I are supposed to go scagg hunting and soul training someday, and this summer he wants me to work with him at the rec, working with little kids, it doesnt seem hard, but i dunno, ill look around, but i really need to go get some applications. I still kinda like him, but right now friends are better than boyfriends. It will all workout some how.. oh well.. bonne nuit..

Please pray for my friend Ian. He was drinking and driving on Saturday, and he got into a car accident. The worst part being, he killed his college roommate. I dont even have any idea how much he is hurting right now, and im sure he is facing some sort of accidental murder charge. He needs prayer, as well as the family and friends of Bill (the guy killed).
