In exactly two years i will be a doctor.. Today, the third years graduated. good for them! it seems as though im far off... one day ill make it.. one day!

My parents got back from the philippines today. After a month they are home, and sleeping in their beds.. who guesses that they wake up at like 2am?? ME!! cause thats what i did!! ha... they had a great time over there though

Sometimes i feel as though im fragmenting apart. Like there are pieces of me everywhere and i cant seem to put everything back the way its suppose to. My life is a never ending puzzle that doent have a solution. The worst part is, is that i can only focus on one area at a time. While im fixing one piece, the other ones fall apart. It almost feels like im drowning. I can see the surface, and i can reach for it, but i just cant pull myself to the surface. If i focus on relationships and putting things right, school falls apart, if i focus on school, my life falls apart, if i focus on sleep i dont cook or clean as much, if i clean and cook, i dont sleep as much. im tired of the seasaw... i want it to end

You know what sucks? I still care for danny so very much. I miss him, and it is so hard because i loved him so very much. But who i miss is who he was a long time ago. I have to keep reminding myself of how things were that last 6 months. How we fought, and how things never went right, and i was always feeling down about it. Because, i miss him terribly. Maybe im lonely, and maybe i really do miss him. Anyways, its hard no matter what. I wish i could talk to him, but you know, chances are, he hasnt changed and hes the same guy i broke up with, so even if we could talk, things would probably go back to the way they were. I guess what really makes the difference is how things ended. After it all, he never even apologized, because everything is always my fault. Mostly, he never tried to keep me, he just let me go like i didnt matter. he didnt oppose me going. I hope hes doing well. This is why im never getting married, cause im a screw up. and im never gonna be able to make some guy happy for longer than a year. It not even worth bothering over.

My neighbors keep slamming the door to their apartment, im really glad im not sleeping, or id be pissed. I actually ran into them today. They live across from me, and since August, i have met 1 lady on the far end opposite side of the hallway. Kinda funny

and i got a B- on my last exam... IM SO HAPPY!!!! CELEBRATION TIME!!!! :-D Thanks guys for praying, God REALLY helped me out big time on this one. I pray that he will continue to lead me in focusing and studying!!

Dig

Today was seriously the best day of school i have EVER had. No Joke. Day started off at 9am with a lab where we learned the therapeutic uses of heat. I learned how to apply and get heat therapy (20 min of a heat pack on my lower back.. ahhh) Ultrasound (7 min of ultrasound on my arm) Parifin Wax (you dip your hand in hot wax like 6 times, then wrap it with a towel, leave on for 15-20 minutes - basically a manicure) and how to use the whirlpool for therapy. Then i had a two hour lecture, but this was followed by the massage lab, which included me doing massage for an hour an a half, and me recieving massage for an hour an a half

In summary: I got a manicure, got a heat pack on my lower back, and got an hour an a half massage... wow.. today was tough

on the good side, i can give some pretty good massages now!

Possibly im playing intramural soccer tonight, but im trying to find a way out of it, i kinda am feeling lazy, and it could possibly cut into my ONE TREE HILL time.. noooooooo

Another Tuesday

Today was long, i am exhausted. Today at the clinic was really fun though. I guessed impingement was her problem based on her symptoms, and with the tests provided, i was correct. YAY! That made me feel good.

The next 4 hours of lecture was different. Whenever i get back to the classroom after clinicals, i am so tired, i dont even really focus, and i had a massive headache.

basically i came home to the couch to crash, and im goin to bed early tonight.. EARLY!!

Class at 9am tomorrow we get to have a MASSAGE LAB.. ouuuuuuu.... people practicing massage on me... what a difficult lab this will be ;)

Exams...

So, today was an insanely long day. So, the Exam started at 9am, however, blackboard was down until almost 11am. So, we waited for almost 2 hours in the classroom, since our exam is taken online. It sucked so bad, then once blackboard finally worked it cut out three more times for about 20 minutes. Talk about distractions... oh well, at least the exam went really well. Thank you to all of those who prayed for me. I needed it today, for sure.

For the practical, i did really well. We had to show how to do a paraplegic transfer from the mat to the wheelchair, then we had to do some special tests on the shoulder. The professor was very impressed with the questions i asked, and my handling skills. So i did really well on that. I was really happy. So, overall today was nice

Then i went to Target, i found a pair of 3 dollar loungin pants... ahh.. so nice...

Bed early tonight, gotta work in center city tomorrow morning. Catchin the train at 6:45am to be at work at 8am.... yes, it sucks very much... i like working there, but i hate the commute.

so... today, i have studied, ate chips, studied, read a chapter in my book, studied, played with the cat, studied, studied with Pam, then i watched tv, for like 2 hours. I think my brain may explode.....

I cant cram any more information into myself.... my brain hurts...

please pray for me, Unit 5 Final is tomorrow at 9am, Unit 5 Practical is at 3:15pm....

So, today, i woke up, and started studying again.. whoohooo, the exciting life of grad school.

My favorite kind of nut is the clover nut. It is furry and purrs, and is a nut. I got her a cat nip toy so she wont be so bored.

My parents have made it safe to Dibagat in the Philippines. Satan is really trying to hold them back from expanding the church. Boat wires have been cut, materials have been stalled, generators have blown, rain has been never ending, and in spite of this, God has prevailed and allowed them to be on schedule with the project. And it is totally God's timing that the generator blew out when my dad was there. He can fix that. Please pray that God would allow the teams to keep up with the projects.

Study Study

So, today was fun. Picked up a friend this morning for school, since his truck wouldnt start. It was only 10 degrees this morning. Pretty chilly, reminded me of home.. love it! We learned how to go down a flight of stairs in a wheelchair, and then how to get up in a wheelchair if your parapalygic and the chair feel backwards. Man, today was a workout, my arms are sore!

So, my day ended at 1pm (it was a REALLY short day). My full intention was to come home, relax a bit, eat lunch then start studying for my exam on monday. Well, i fell alseep reading at like 2, woke up at 4:30, then i frantically printed off my notes and slides that i needed prepaired for unit review with a friend at 7. I got it all done, since ive been paying attention this unit, but man was that intense when i woke up. The funny thing is, now its 11:30, and im not even tired. Stupid naps!

So, im almost done with my book, The Vampire Lestat. Its the book that comes after Interview With the Vampire. So, since im almost done, which book should i get next? Sybil (a book about the first diagnosed case of Dissociative Identity Disorder) or Queen of the Damned (the book that comes after The Vampire Lestat). Or does anyone that actually read this have any other ideas?

Today is Wednesday... yes, it is. I am currently watching charmed. It is one of the things that i have kept doing since LeTourneau. And, i still do watch one tree hill. There was just a commercial on TV that involved Donald Trump, and i think something died on his head. it seriously cant be real hair, it cant. I also like how in commercials about lotions getting rid of dark circles, they just change the lighting to get rid of the dark circles. ha... they cheat.
So, ive decided that my blog needs a facelift. maybe ill work on that instead of studying.. ha..

A Special Christmas Box

So, today in class, we learned a zillion number of tests that you can perform to find labral tears in the shoulder. There are literally pages, that i need to memorize and perform correctly, by... next monday... talk about quick learning. After our lab from 8:30-11, we had an hour break for lunch, then we had actual patients with Multiple Sclerosis, strokes, head trauma victims, and a guy with aphasia. It was really cool, but they didnt tell us that right off, so we had to perform tests on them and determine by the results what the problem was. it was pretty cool, but extremely intimidating and overwhelming. Finally, the day was finished off with a neuro lecture on 6 cases that were given to us earlier, and we had to discuss as a class our thoughts on them and what we thought had happened because of the symptoms.
For Example:

1. Inability to recognize and describe
unseen objects placed in right hand;
able to “recognize” them with left
hand. Able to judge texture, weight,
temperature differences of unseen
objects with either hand.

2. Person has trouble understanding
spoken and written words. Speech
is clear and emotional and intellect-
ual response is appropriate.


And from this we have to determine where the injury is, and what was affected. AHH!!

Tonight, i will be studying, reviewing all the good stuff in my neuro binder so i dont die next monday, and..... WATCHING ONE TREE HILL.

Headache

I currently have a headache, and i am in between neuroanatomy and disfunction and activating weak muscles. I am bored, i hate going to class.. but when you think about it, when your out of school, you have to go to work everyday from 8-5, so really, i will be busy every day for the rest of my life like i am now. I feel really negative today, and im not really a negative person, so i feel kinda bad about it. Im not hugely bitter normally either, but i really am hating on relationships today too... wierd day, must be the rain. So basically, im just going to ramble on for awhile because i dont have much significant to say. I had an interesting weekend... interesting doesnt even begin to describe it. If you are a guy i would recommend going into PT school, because you will literally have girls flock to you... flock... like as in you could just stand in the corner and have girls surrounding you, feeding you, trying to get you to dance with them, they will kiss you, and literally all you have to do stand there... literally... its a long story, ask me about it sometime.. ill tell you. On a positive note, Jesh visited me this weekend, so that was fun. he was my date to the formal. We went into the city on saturday to get cheeseseaks and take pictures of the city in the fall, he got some great pictures and im waiting for him to post them on facebook. So, basically, tahts my life right now, boring and pissy, please, please, please cheer me up.. im about to explode...

PT School

So, right now im sitting in the student lounge eating lunch. We have 2.5 hours for break, and yes, again i am bored. School is going well. although its raining, its not too bad. Hopefully it wont rain tomorrow, because i want to go outside and do somthing, im tired of stayin inside. So, two days ago it was 60, yesterday it was 85, and now, its 60 again... whoohooo for random weather changes. My parents and grandparents came to visit me last night, that was fun, i like spending time with family. Umm... nothing else is really new with me. Still workin on the friend/church thing, please pray for me guys. i need it, i kinda feel like im slipping backwards and i could really use some encouragement. While your at LeTourneau, dont take this for granted, because once you leave, all of the framework and encouragement that kept you goin, is gone, and its really hard, if not impossible to replace what LeTourneau gives us. I feel lonely up here sometimes, not that i have a lack of friends, but i miss G1, i miss goin outside and doin random crap, i think i may mini-skateboard myself. I hope that i can hang out with Derek this weekend, because i miss friends that i can be random with. He understands my randomness. I confused some guy this week by randomly mentioning that raspberry ice tea is good. and thats a minor random comment by me, can you imagine the reaction to my full randomness? then i really wounldnt have friends. Well, i guess thats enough rambling for now, hopefully ill post more since i am bored to DEATH practically every day. i could go home, but what would i do there?

So, its been awhile since ive actually written an update. Well, ive been busy, if you have any questions about like the past year, talk to me... otherwise, ill continue with the here and now. My apartment is nice. I like living in a CLEAN!! area, and cooking food is SO much better than saga. Today i made peas, pasta and blueberry muffins for lunch.. yum! I went to a new church today Warrington Fellowship Church. Its a nice little place. I really like the smaller churches since i was brought up in one, people seem to be so close. There are a few people my age, but not many. Ill go to this church for a few weeks to give it a chance before i make a decision. The message was good though.

Well, i gotta go to petsmart to return yet another fish, im tired of them dying and driving 20 min away to return a fish, only to turn around and immediately come home...

Its Raining

So, yesterday was beautiful.. almost 80, so i was able to wear a t-shirt again. i worked all morning at Constantinos Deli where i should be working for bre bre while she goes back to high school to finish up some things for two weeks. As it turns out, there is a large possiblity of me working at that darn factory again. i dislike working there so strongly that it actually makes me angry. i think that if i start putting things off more waiting for another job to come along my mom might actually kill me. She has been VERY angry lately about the whole thing. i mean really, do you think im happy that i have a college degree so that i can get a better job, and im still working at a factory, cause no one in rutland seems to care that i have a DEGREE!?!?!?!?!?!? RAH!!!!! anyway, i have an interview with them this afternoon. I need to work the 3-11 shift so i can work at the deli 9-2:30 in the mornings... those are gonna be some intense two weeks! then i will work the 7-3 shift... that will be way better because then i get out in the mid afternoon and i wont feel like im missing everything.
Today its raining again, yesterday was beautiful, now its back to 50's and raining like it has been every day since i got home from school. RAIN RAIN FREAKIN GO AWAY!! hey, at least we wont have a drought this summer, and the grass is really green!
Yesterday i removed all the stickers from the back of my car with the exception of the long LU banner one, and i put the arcadia one on top of it. My car is now offical and i am ready to make my way to philly. well.. im gonna try to do something with myself. maybe finish reading my book..... jungle pilot.. its good, i reccommend that everyone read it!

Sad

So this morning when i woke up i was sad because i realized i would never live on G1 again with my friends. It was really sad :( I had a dream about living there again and how the toilets were broken again so everyone had to use a toilet in the lobby, well.... i couldnt pee in the lobby because i was scared since it was just this random lone toilet. So i went back into the suite and kristen was making paper flower pots for the bathroom doors and some other creative thing for the bathroom doors, and inside the bathroom, since the toilets were broken she made really large flowers to take up most of the bathroom.. haha :) so then i woke up to realize that i really did have to pee, and my toilet did in fact work... i was relieved. Then i wanted to tell my friends like we normally do when we have a strange dream like that but i realized they werent here, and i wouldnt be there again. really sad morning :(
Today will consist of unpacking more, and moving boxes that wont be unpacked downstairs somewhere out of the way. My, what a fun, loaded day!

I'm Hungry

As i started to write this post, i realized that i was really hungry... i should grab something to eat. This morning i went out to breakfast with one of my high school friends that i have kept in touch with, Ellea. She is the sweetest and one of the most amazing encouraging friends i have. I love her! We are gonna be only an hour away for our graduate schools, so this is really exciting to me! After breakfast i went to find a job at the hospital, this afternoon im driving around everywhere else to see if i can get a job to put to use my college degree... this may not happen and in that time i will have to get a job at the dreaded factory :( sad times. Factory work SUCKS!!! oh well... life will go on im sure.
I went online about an hour ago because i have to straigten out financial matters for Grad school, and have i even started yet? NO the answer is no becuase i am a really bad procrastinator... i will have to do that now... so ill post later...
tonight is the season finale for Grey's Anatomy... 2 hours.. oh man, this is gonna be intense.. just watch it... its on ABC... and for you in Texas it starts at 7...

On The Road Again...

So, i graduated on May 6th with my bachelors of science, that is one expensive piece of paper! My family and i hung around until monday, where we drove my granparents to the airport, and we continued on our journey. We left dallas at around... 3ish... so we drive until 1ish that night, stop somewhere outside of nashville TN. Next morning at 8am we head out on the road again, and we come into truck problems, whenever it idles the truck stalls, so we cannot go slow, and going to get gas is a real pain. Around lunch time we stop to try to "fix" the truck, this takes us about 2 hours. Then we head out again, and drive to, almost NOW! thats right, we drove all stinkin night long, and get home at 9am! suck! so, i am home, for those that were wondering. and i really need to get some sleep now, im exhausted, ill write later when im more coherant.

My friend gave me this verse this week for encouragement. I just feel hurt inside. I have such conflicted emotions. On one side, i dont feel like i deserve to mourn so much, i wasnt his parent, his sister, or even his best friend. I was a friend. Yet, i cry on a daily basis. I also am conflicted because how can i cry when hes in heaven, playing soccer, sitting at the feet of Jesus. Its ok to mourn, but sometimes i just dont feel like i should be. Its also hard for me to accept that hes gone. I keep accepting that hes gonna just show up at sometime. This weekend will be very hard when his parents come in to clean out his room, and stay for his memorial service. I will really have to come to terms with it this weekend, and thats gonna be so hard. i will see him again soon

This was Zack's favorite verses back in the day. Yesterday a good friend of mine, zack went to be with the Lord. I loved him, and it is hard to let him go. I never expected that he would die, i guess i figured he would get better, but next year he would be back at school. I am conforted by the fact that he was ready and prepaired to die, up until his death he was self-less, and was more concerned by the grief of his family and friends than his own death. He had an amazing relationship with God, and i would really like that deep-ness as well. His faith was so evident in everything he did. He has encouraged me in so many ways. It makes it so hard to let go, everywhere i go on campus around town, in the future, reminds me of him. I was excited to see him this summer because we would be living close to one another, so i would be able to spend time with him. I always saw him in Glaske where we would talk about school, MSC where we would hang out at acoustic cafe, The lounge at KZX where we watched movies and most recently a dave matthews concert on DVD, so many memories, so many discussions. Even when i listen to music i think of him, dave matthews, country. I feel so sad inside, like im breaking apart, like there is a hole. But then i think of how he is now. Hes at the feet of God, in awe. Maybe he is running and playing soccer in his healed body. Whatever he is doing, he is so happy and healthy, and i know i will see him again, so i have to be happy for him, even though i still grieve. I feel bad most of all for his three sisters and parents. They loved him so much, and though they are comforted, they still miss him greatly. Please pray for all of this. Its hard to deal with the death of a loved one.

Hell Week

Since i use this mainly for ranting and such.. welll.. here goes...
I AM TIRED OF EVERYTHING. And for once, im not so burnt out on classes. I could probably keep going with classes, its just a steady process. Ive learned not to study too hard, but to study often. Its not always effective, but it works for my ADD personality. I am mostly tired of mind games. I am tired of thinking "do they hate me?" "did i do something wrong?" Honestly, im tired of it. I dont recall harming someone, and i would sure be aware if i was pissed at someone... At this point i just dont care... I am direct, and i love my friends, i really do.. but im tired of mind games. AH.. so tired... so tired. I love going home, because its a good month of solitude, art, and reflexion. I do nothing at home. My entertainment is CSI and painting, sometimes piano. oouuu reading too... i love being home because i can seclude myself and recharge. I really am never bored at home... its odd... but really, i can always find something to do. I am so excited for home. I miss the northeast everything... the culture is so different, and i miss it.
Well this was probably the most random post ever, but i am greater than tired, and its time for bed. after 12:30am i generally dont have coherant thoughts. yeah.. goodnight all

YAY

Breezy got into Keystone College!!! Its in LaPlume, PA and its her top choice for schools. I am so happy and proud of her! :) I am so glad that she gets the opportunity to go to her number one school, and i hope she is very successful and grows in relationship with God.
I hope i get into Arcadia, but i want God's will for me... wow.. if bre and i were close that would be so much fun, i would be close to family again. that is what i want more than anything, just to be closer to family... being 30 hours away is killing me!

That was wierd...

So, i go to post, type in blogger.com on my browser, and it says that i need cookies inabled before i can log on. So then i go back and type in blogger.com again, and scroll down the history list, find something with a blogger.com/post-create, and BAM! here i am, didnt need to log in, and aparantly i dont have cookies inabled. I found a loophole in the system. HA.. HA.. HA!!!
This morning i tried something different. Since i have class in Solheim at 8 in the morning, i decided that i would work out afterwords. I dont have class after then, and i might as well work out while im there instead of going back to sleep. Exercise apparantly give you more energy than if you went back to sleep for an hour or so. I'll let you know how the progress goes, but so far its much easier to do this, then to find time to work out at 11pm when really, i should be winding down in my room to sleep at 12.
Really, i have a lot on my plate for the next three weeks. Next week i have around 3 finals, and the week after i have another 3 finals. It should be intense, but after that i will be home, snowboarding with my BEAUTIFUL new snowboard. I am so excited, you really have NO idea. aahhhhhhh... My first day home i start my new job, which means i will have a season pass!! I love VT, i really do... and most importantly i will be with my family which i miss so much. This winter will be hard. There has been a lot of problems at home, and this winter we will all be in close quarters. This will probably be the last time we will all be in the same area. I hope that one day we will all end up in the same place, i would prefer Pennsylvania, and so does brez, so maybe thats where we will all try to go. I am praying that she gets into a school there. I want for her to get a good education, and get away from the mistakes her parents made. But God has a plan for her, i just want her to be happy and maintain a good relationship with Him.

oh the joys of marriage

you know what sucks? since no one is around to comment.. ill just tell you, cause i could be waiting awhile. Parents that fight. When i was younger, i thought my parents were going to get a divorce. They fought constantly. I wanted them to break up, because i was tired of hearing them yell. Sometimes i think my mom just likes to yell cause it makes her feel better. That is why i am a timid person. When you are severely yelled at for your entire life, you tolerate being put down so much that you become small. Dont get me wrong, i love my mother, i just hate the ugly person she becomes when shes in a bad mood and she feels the need to yell. Moving on... My parents are beginning to fight again. They have stopped fighting for as long as i have been in college, but its beginning again. Its over little things too. My mom doesnt like it when my dad stops to talk at church. Hes a deacon, thats what he does, and is supposed to do. Well, my mom hates it when he stays after, so she will scream at him if he stays too late. I feel bad for him, he just doesnt know quite what to do, they are two very different people. She loves him for being a good provider and taking care of me, He loves her because she is a good caretaker of the house, but under this are some twisted views. My dad is gone a lot, he works almost too much, and my mom gets lonely. I think because of her loneliness she lashes out. She is unable to stay up really late with him, since she gets up early for work, and he cannot go to bed early, so he will lay in bed for hours after she is asleep until he can actually fall asleep. I am afraid because i see mimiking qualities of my dad in Danny and my mom in me. now im not a yelling person, but i can be stubborn, and i go to bed early, and im not extremely social. Danny loves to stay up late and talk to people. I cant draw conclusions from this, but it still scares me. I wonder how happy my parents really are sometimes. Then i wonder if i really want to get married someday. I dont want to fight all the time. My parents are currently not on speaking terms. Sometimes i feel like my life is falling into pieces all around me. I try so hard to keep things afloat that i just cant keep picking up the pieces. My family is broken now (not only my parents) i feel like im a world behind in school, and graduate school essays are creepin in and i jsut want to send out applications. Its so hard. God will take care of me, and my family. His will, will be done and i will be happy... although now it feels like my world is falling apart. Its hard for me to express my feelings on all of this. Writing is like therapy for me. sometimes i feel like im falling down a hole, and im drowning. this was a thoroughly depressinng post... please pray for my family.

Mother Teresa was quoted as saying, "There is more hunger for love and appreciation in this world than for bread." I was disturbed today to find out how many people on this campus are shallow and are just mean-spirited. Love is important. God tells us in Matthew 22:37-39 that 'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all you soul, and with all your mind' This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself'. Sure people on this campus arent all beautiful, they arent all thin supermodels, the guys arent abercrombie and fitch models either. It really bothers me when people go around saying how ugly are campus is, how wierd they are, how everyone is a nerd, and on and on... Sure, our campus is strange, its not like real life, but God loves these people. God loves them just as much as everyone else. He made them strange, he made them seemingly 'unattractive' on the outside, but i bet you that some of these people have a beautiful inside. They may in fact be more beautiful on the inside than you and me, and that is what really matters. God tells us to love one another, making fun of people, and putting others down saying they look like dogs is not showing love, its showing hate. It breaks my heart. I bet those people wake up like everyone else and say to themselves 'I want to look cute today, so im going to wear my cutest outfit'. Im not gorgeous and thats what i say. God loves you, all of you. Be kind to those who hate you, be kind to those who love you. Dont be selfish and stuck on yourself, its not attractive, and whatever outer physical attractive you had disappears. Putting others down is very unattractive. Love your neighbor as your self. Thats my rant for the day. Good thing no one reads this.. it may stir up trouble :) HA

So, well... its been a very long time. I just realized that its been so long that i didnt know you could add pictures without hello anymore.
I cant wait to go home! you have NO idea, in less than one month i will be SNOWBOARDING again. ahh... i get to use my new board and everything. This winter i will be working at killington again, but not as a lifty.. im gonna work in the baseshop doing sales, and other random things there. I dont think i will be working at darkside either. Darkside was the best job ever. It was really layed back and i got a free sweatshirt (which is now my favorite). I love winters, i think it may be my favorite time of year because of the snow.

Oh, good times at home. This Christmas will be a strange one. It will be the best and the worst all at once. Family is one of the greatests gifts God has given me. Well, i think im gonna go eat, but with any luck i will try to post more often. These classes have gotten me so busy i cant see straight. Hopefully i will apply to 4 Graduate schools by the end of the week. I jsut want to get the applications in and leave the rest to God. I love you guys! So i got inspired to post... actually i have some questions that i would like answered. First of all is What the heck is wrong with me?

I say this because i really think i have some issues. First of all being, why do i always not look forward to going to texas at the end of the summer? Is this a bad thing? God wants us to be content in any situation, because he has us there for a reason. I know what my reason for being in texas was, but now at the end of the summer i once again am detesting the thought of returning to texas.

I think i am a New England Gal. I dont think much can change that. I hope God's plan is for me to return to the great east coast. Now, i dont beleve that i want to live in Vermont my whole life, but the firthest i really want to go southern-wise is Pennsylvania. I guess i just love my family and everything about the north. New England Buddy got anything to comment?

Is this wrong for me to think this way? I wish i could just love texas, but ive tried, i have and it doesnt seem to come to me. I like LU, but once i leave there i am really not wanting to go back. I dont mean for this to offend anyone, but i seriously doubt that some of you want to move to the north east. Does this mean thats God's plan is for me to live up north, since i feel so strongly, or is he just forcing me to live in the south cause hes teaching me to be content, even when he knows my heart is in the north? HELP.. someone comment please!!

Hiatus

so yes, thats correct, i am once again posting. i know.. its amazing. so... here has been my life, came back home, and was highly motivated to get stuff done. I painted the swingset, got my horses hooves clipped, washed and clipped my dog, got a lot of cleaning done, put my room back in order, sorted out throught old clothes im getting rid of, i am currently house sitting, working at the vet clinic a couple times a day, taking a GRE class, and helping my dad renovate our deck and my bathroom. well... see i have been busy.. whoo.. go me, well.. thats about all for now, you can see why i really havent posted.. kinda been busy, and havent even thought of posting..

Well, ive finally made it home. Its nice to relax, sleep in and generally be a bum again. im back to working my usual 5 hour work days 3 days a week, its quite entertaining. However, i should start painting my house soon. That should be fun!

ok, ok... well, not much is goin on here... still... only have two exams and a final remaining this week. Friday is my final then im done with one class.. and i got enough stuff to do before then. In a week i will be flying back to vermont. I hate doing this. I love home, and i love my friends, WHY CANT THEY ALL BE IN THE SAME PLACE?!?! Flic and i were talking about this a few days ago. People that live near here hate it, but really, you get a good deal, your near your parents and your friends for most of the year. You can go home and do laundry, see your parents, eat a good meal. Flic and i go home 2 times a year for only a few weeks. It sucks!

You may be wondering why i so adamantly inform everyone that TOMORROW IS MY 21st BIRTHDAY!! well, my freshman year, everyone forgot when my birthday was, so i decided that to prevent only my parents remembering when i was born, i would not give anyone (my friends) an excuse for forgetting my birthday.....

Rain

Rain means when water falls from the sky (so im in the computer labs, and i dont have my GRE word list with me, so i had to make up a definitiion :))

So, i havent updated in awhile, so i figured i would. Im getting better, besides the nastyness still in my lungs and nose, i am feelin a lot better. yay :)

Class is kickin my butt... not really, but im tired of gettin up and driving over there all the time. At least i have all afternoon to take a nap, lay out in the sun, or do anything i want to.

There are a lot of business majors in the labs right now, and they are strange. All laughing at some imitation of some professor. I dont get it, i guess thats because im not a business major

Today i was typing up my notes from class, and i saw a bird outside pickin a worm out of the ground. I thought birds got worms in the morning. Guess not, cause this was at like 2:30

So making dinners has been going well. I have been making most dinners with variations of chicken. Chicken is pretty versitile. The good thing about all of this, is that i havent burnt anything yet... yet... yay, go my cooking skills...

Baja got back from their trip, and they got 57th out of 130 something, so thats decent. my roommate is back from Italy, so i got to see her and her pictures. Ive ran into laura a few times down at Baja!! Its nice seeing my friends again. I have missed them :)

Lassitude

Lassitude is a state of diminished energy.

I feel like i completely illustrate that vocab word of the day. In the last post i said that i thought i was getting sick. Oh boy was i right. I ended up with a nasty high fever, and a sore throat which led to an infection in my lungs, so now i am left with a nasty cough which continues to keep me up all night. I was so scared these past few days, i seriously thought i was going to die. i figured i would just stop being able to breathe and die. God apparantly wants to keep me around longer, so i didnt stop breathing, but i still am having trouble doing so, especially at night, so if you guys could please pray that i get better soon so i can breathe again, that would be nice :)

Class at Kilgore is going well. My professor is funny and tells lots of corny jokes which is a good thing at 8am. I have two tests on monday, so ill know better how the class is going to go after that point. Im not too worried though.

I have to buy my own scantrons for my class. Wierd. LU always provides them for us. That was a new experience, actually BUYING scantrons.

Kilgore has a really nice student center and school store... oouu

Also, i am in desperate need of a car for the beginning of next week. Can i borrow anyones car from 8am to 11:30am some morning/s please???

Guile

Guile means trickery or deceit...

Today was a great day. It started off boring... well not really boring... let me explain. So i got up early to see Baja off and wish them good luck n all. The car was lookin mighty fine, and the senior team had their car all ready to go finally, so all was well with Baja. I went back to my room and talked to Flic for awhile, looked up random stuff online, and did about all i could until there was nothing else to do online. Then i decided.. humm.. sleep sounds good. So i took another wonderful nap. Got up and decided that i was bored again, so i decided to drive around since i gained posession of Danny's car for the night.

I decided to do laundry at KZX, then i drove to getto one to get tea... umm... that was really good with honey. After that Will and i made dinner which consisted of pancakes with REAL maple syrup and scrambled eggs. After dinner Danny drove me to kilgore where i found where my class is this week. So that was my day in a nutshell.. fun stuff

I think im gettin sick too. The weather changes from Vermont to Texas are never really good for my system. In fact my body HATES the insane weather changes.

Today was good though, i had some good conversations with some great people. AND

the best thing is.. the guy that my dad goes on mission trips with to the Phillipeans is gonna be on campus on the 16th of June! I have wanted to meet him for so long, but hes always in Vermont when im in school, and im always at home when he is in Texas. So i beat the system, i take summer school!! YES!! So i am really excited i get to meet him. He is an amazing guy!

Well, that was my day.. all of it... time for bed now.. G'night

Iconoclast

Iconoclast means to oppose the establishment. I feel like that sometimes when im at LeTourneau. OPPOSE THE UNIVERSITY!! BE A REBEL... ehh, just kidding...

so on with my busy live as it stands at LU... Today i went to church, then took a really long nap until dinner, i made rice a roni for dinna with salad. YUM i love rice aroni... soooo good!! Then i ran errands for a bit... drove Radio to get some food, then i stopped and hung out with the Baja crew for quite some time. Then Laura stopped by and we all had a great time!! Ive missed Laura, and we need to hang out soon! Then i dropped the car back off at KZX and then i went to bed. What a day i tell ya!

It has come to my attention that all of my guy friends are senior design team leaders. Danny of Formula, Derek of MiniBaja, and Zach of some ultralight airplane design. Well, it looks like i will be visiting the Machine Tool Lab often next year. It figures that i would be dating the project manager of Formula since i dislike it so much. how ironic it is...

The weather has been nice here, rainy, but still so much warmer than VT, its cold inside, but if i ever get to cold i can open a window or just plain go outside. I am enjoying the heat her thus far. This summer in TX has yet to kill me!

Pariah

Yup, the rumors are true. I am in TEXAS!! Emily picked me up at the airport, and then we had fun runnin around town doin errands. Good day. She is also the coolest person i know, because she definately hooked me up with the greatest room ever. Its a single room, so there is only one bed, one desk, etc. which means only one thing. No roommate! I love my roomie from the regular semesters, but its nice to have my own room if i cant be livin with her. So i like Quad 4... i wish that i could live here longer

So other than traveling and hangin out with Emily, I have made dinner down at KZX, slept awhile, and finished my powerpoint of Egypt that i am doing for my church. They have asked me to do a presenation some night service about my trip to Egypt. I made it look good too. Everyone should come visit me and see my presentation! :)

well... i think im gonna get some reading done. I got the free time, so i should read. I need to start exercising again, but im not sure when the best time would be. Early morning, or late night? Or Solheim? I wish i was an early person, cause i would do the early morning thing. Maybe ill try that out.

Innocuous

Actually, I feel dumber cause i have a 200 page stack of words i do not know. Dang it!

So Today is my last day at home! Thats right, tomorrow i will be leaving the frozen tundra for the oven that is texas! yay! Im gonna get to spend time with Emily, Laura, Danny, Lynn, and hopefully Nealy will visit too (At least she should!!). I also suggest that Jessi come visit, but i have a feeling that Longview isnt exactly the past of Texas that she wants to be at :( oh well... i understand :-D

I havent been up to all too much. Working every now and then. Today is Bre's birthday.. Happy 17th birthday to Breezy!!

Im starting to work out again, and this time i really wanna keep up the workout plan for at least 8weeks so i can see results. I really am gonna have to motivate myself to work out in Texas.. ugh.. nasty humidity. I have even been really good about not eating chocolate. yay for me :)

Well, i think thats about all, i gotta go pack... If you are thinkin of me tomorrow.. i will be flying out of Hartford Airport at 6am, which means i need to leave my house at 2am... AHHH. I will be flying into Shrevesport around 11:30, where the lovely Emily is picking me up! Its gonna be one heck of an early morning!!

Inchoate

Inchoate is todays word of the day and it means not fully formed, or disorganized. I am really tired of the words that begin with I.. i need another letter.

So today was my first day of work. I love working at the Vet clinic, but it makes me think. wow... this sucks. When i was in high school and i worked there i worked as a veterinary technician, and a labratory technician, now i clean up dog poop. usually when you get more education you get better jobs, not worse jobs. Oh well, I cant complain too much it pays. So thats what i did this morning.

Yesterday i got a lot done. I raked a quarter of the pasture, so i can more easily scoop manure when we move the backhoe into the pasture for major clean up, i made dinner which consisted of pineapple/strawberry smoothies, fresh baked bread, and scalloped potatoes and ham. Yum! I am definatly improving my cooking skills. I also got a new shirt at Maurises which i will be able to wear in TX, but not really at home, cause its WAY too cold for that.

Yesterday it was almost 70, so thats what inspired me to get out and do something with myself, and quit being bored sitting on my butt. However, today its back to being cold again, so aside from working and doing a much needed laundry load, i think its back to sittin on my butt. yay for nothingness

Impervious

This weekend i went to Connecticut to my deceased uncles house. My dad helped my aunt and uncle inventory all of my dead uncles belongings to probate so everything can be divided up among his decendants. I on the other hand cleaned. My uncle was not a good house-keeper, so i cleaned all the layers of dust, and swept and mopped the floors until everything was clean and shiny.. ooouuuu... I like making things clean. I didnt sleep in the house either, i camped out in the truck. It was kinda wierd camping in a truck, but i felt creepy sleeping in the house. This weekend was all about cleaning. I went through a bottle of Kaboom, a bottle of Pine Sol, 3 sponges, a box of Clorox wipes, a box of Pledge wood wipes and a box of Pledge all purpose wipes. I really felt accomplished when everything was done. Yay me.

Well, i pretty much have everything settled for texas when im there soon. Im flying in on the 26th and i leave the 21st. It will be a nice break from Vt, maybe ill get to warm up a bit. Hopefully i can find a job on campus or something so i dont have to pay the full 50 to stay on campus. That would be nice.

for those of you who have forgotten.... my birthday is coming up on the 15th... yes.. my birthday is in 29 days!!!

Today was slow. Very Slow. I have decided that i should have attempted to stay in Longview, but i am home for a reason so i should be happy. Wow, have the tables turned, this post reflects a christmas post.

My has this night turned to one sucky one. Gosh... well, im gonna go hide out in my room now. Dang it... why... ugh...

Frugality

I HAVE A CELL PHONE AGAIN!!! YAY. so if you know my number (it hasnt changed) please call me so i can restore my phone book again. I have lost a lot of cell phone numbers, so seriously.. please call me anytime!!

Today was fairly uneventful. Not as earth shattering as it could have been, but it was all around an extremely happy day. I unpacked my room halfway, did errands with my mom, worked out my job shadowing at the hospital, and got a new cell phone. quite the day.

Now im bored again, i watched the OC, next week is the season finalie its gonna be really good. but now its over, so since there is no one online to talk to i may go to sleep, so sad, me sleeping at 10:37... texas time its 9:37 wierd... i need a life. well goodnight

Florid

Florid means excessively decorated or embellished. That is todays word of the day. On to better things.

Yesterday was fun, but i dont feel like i accomplished all that much. I unloaded my car, went grocery shopping, made a strawberry pie (which turned out REALLY good), and made dinner which consisted of angel hair pasta with stir fry vegetables on top. I enjoy cooking. To finish off my day i hung out with breezy and tyson. We watched National Treasure then One Tree Hill. Its nice spending time with them, i have missed my family. It was 82 degrees yesterday. That is EXTREMELY impressive!!

For today i guess im doing general errands, i really need to unpack my stuff into my room, but its so cold down there you can practically see your breath. so im trying to avoid doing work down there. Today will be another lazy day. I like those since i dont have much else to do. Well, i guess ill post later. I miss everyone already :(

Austere

Austere is the word of the day. Austere means severe or stern in appearance; undecorated. The reason for the word of the day: i got home and guess what... i have a nice large GRE prep box waiting for me, so i guess i gotta start learning vocabulary that i will never need to know past this exam.

So i made it home safe and sound. It was a nice long drive. I left Sunday at 9, drove till 9 that night, woke up the next morning and drove from 9 until 12:30 that night. We made really good time. There wasnt much construction, so we only hit one traffic jam, and i didnt have to stop at random peoples houses, so there were no detours, it was just one straight trip. That was nice. So im home... Got woken up by Bre jumping on me, so my life at home has resumed.

Today im going grocery shopping, so i can make dinner tonight. I gotta brush my horse, she is shedding massively. past that i want to relax, because ive been driving for a long freakin time!!!

Theving

So.... my cell phone got stolen this weekend. That was very frustrating :( I feel so lost without it. Its funny how much i can depend on material things. like my cell phone. Anyway, in like 1 or 2 weeks, please call my cell phone so i have everyones number again.

I even talked to the guy that stole my phone. Roommate and i went to the police station to report it stolen, then i realized i could text message the guy with my phone and he could answer that way, since obviously he wasnt answering calls. I text messaged him that i wanted my phone and asked if he wanted any money for it in return. He replied "300 dollars" I told him that the phone wasnt worth that much, and i could give him 50 (im gonna have to pay 50 anyway for another phone). I also told him that i was shutting the phone off tomorrow (monday) and if he tried to re-activate the phone it would show that it was a stolen phone. So basically he either had nothing, or $50. He told me to call him and i would get my phone back. I did, and basically i restated everything. We came up with a place, but no time, so i guess im not getting my old phone back, however... my dad shut off my old phone today, so guess hes not gonna be using my phone anymore. HA.

I took my physics final today. That sucked. That really sucked. I didnt do as bad as i though i would have. It was all completely God. I was able to manipulate some formulas and it was really amazing, but i just couldnt get the F=MA eqations to work the way i wanted them to. Oh well, at least Physics I is over, i just hope i get a C or better, otherwise ill probably take it over :( Sad...
